I loved the quote I found for this
newsletter. You know, as I mature I can
fully agree with Dr. Seuss' thought. I know
that hypnotherapy has been a big part of
living in full expression of mySelf. I see
it with clients as well. As we clear out our
past issues we become more true to
ourselves. We uncover strengths and
qualities that have always been there but
were simply dormant. Lying quietly deep
inside waiting to be re-discovered. I am
always delighted and amazed at the list of
qualities that clients express at the end of
a session. It is a description of who they
really are. It's an honor to be the witness
to the rebirth of these qualities.
I suppose it's why I continue to do this
work and have a strong desire to teach
others so that many more people can become
acquainted with their true nature.
The local newspaper interviewed me a few
months ago for quite an extensive article on
hypnotherapy. The phone is still ringing. It
reinforces what I already believed. There
are huge numbers of people who not only want
help, but are interested in hypnotherapy.
They just didn't know who to call.

Happy New Year, Zodiac! This month brings us
the Astrological New Year -- the Spring
Equinox (the first day of Spring). The Sun
enters the constellation of innovative
Aries. This is a time of new beginnings,
when the seeds are planted in the ground.
Astrological gardening begins with the seed
(the dream and/or the the desire) for this
year's hope of what is to be created by you.
The planets are finally starting to move
ahead, giving us the opportunity to rise
above (the seed is germinated and sending up
its sprout to be nourished by the Sun) the
negativity that we have been getting
bombarded with by the news media. "This too
shall pass" has been the mode of operation
up until now. We, in cooperation with
others, can now start forward, leaving the
fear behind us -- since the seed has
actually risen above the ground.
The full moon on the 21st, in the sign of
Libra, is shining and lighting the way so
that we may rise above the forecast of
economic doom and gloom. Surely we can make
this a better world when we work together by
sharing our hopes for a brighter future.
This can and should apply to each and every
one of us as we apply it to our own lives.
Take a few minutes at the beginning of each
day and focus on what it is that you want
(planting, nurturing and weeding out
anything that may pop up or crowed out the
seedling or desire). See it, feel it and
have faith in the creation of that desire.
Then use the energy of Aries to take action,
as appropriate.
Of course, the Universe can't always give us
too smooth of a road for too long or it
would get very boring. )However, sometimes
boring is nice as we could use a few days of
peace.) Use this time of Sun in Aries to
forge through like the Ram, head down,
charging (not credit card purchases!) toward
your dream. If you should run into any
obstacles in your path, pick yourself up,
look down the path for any other bumps that
might give you a jolt and press on.

I am the organizer of the Sacramento
Hypnosis Meetup Group. If you live in the
Sacramento area, check it out. We meet once
a month. It's great way to meet others with
similar interests.
Since many people are fascinated with
instant inductions, for our educational
segment on April 8th we'll watch a video of
the legendary Gil Boyne followed by
discussion. We'll also have time for
networking and getting acquainted. Join us!
