Intention |
|
I
have been aware of the power of intention for many
years. It was brought to my attention in a class back in
the early 1990s. We were asked to introduce ourselves
and state our intention for the class. I was close to
the end of 30 people and while I waited for my turn I
set my intention to be open and learn as much as
possible. My second intention was to release a really
bad headache that I had brought to class. By the time I
introduced myself, some 20 minutes later, my headache
was completely gone. I was amazed that the simple
process of setting an intention could have such a
profound result.
Fast forward to 2007. I have continued to marvel at the
power of intention. (You may have heard Dr. Wayne Dyer
speak about this or you may have read his book on
intention) I set my intention to rent larger office
space to accomodate my growing hypnotherapy school.
Although I made a list of everything that I needed I've
been slightly tempted to settle for a space close but
not just right. It's been a very interesting process
because as I've explored the spaces available to lease
I've been able to more accurately define what I want and
need.
Yesterday I viewed a space that was larger than I needed
but still within my budget! I wouldn't have to move
again when the classes expanded. It had almost
everything that I had listed: free parking (almost
unbelievable in midtown Sacramento) free street parking
with shade, great light, large open space, storage room,
two small offices for sessions and a large area for
classes. The only factor that was missing was an
elevator to the second floor. Hmmm, so close! I pulled
two Angel cards yesterday morning: Manifestation and
Trust. I understand. Since obviously I can manifest
something that close, I am being asked to trust that
exactly the right space will show up at the right time.
In the meantime, I am practicing patience and expanding
my current space by renting another small office in my
building. Life is good. |
