I worked with a delightful 87 year old gentleman
recently who came for pain relief. I have to
tell you that my experience with older clients
has not always been positive. Although they
often get results, they are not what I call
"hypnotically talented." This gentleman was a
huge exception.
Let me give you a picture of "Bill’s" outlook on
life. At 87 he had retired only 3-4 months
earlier. Besides working in the corporate world,
he has traveled all over the world working as a
magician. Although he could hardly walk from the
elevator to my office, at our first session he
said that his goal was to "get his life back."
He wasn’t planning to return to work but he does
want to travel again and perform magic. I can
see that he’s quite talented from the magic
tricks that he demonstrated after each session
and from the DVD that he brought me showing his
levitation trick. I was quite impressed.
Bill had surgery for spinal stenosis 18 months
ago and was still in considerable pain – taking
8 pain pills daily. Seeking relief, he had
already used a number of other complimentary
approaches including massage, reflexology, heat,
ice, acupuncture. As with many clients he was
out of options. After his first session his pain
dropped by 50%! Of course, when he asked how
that could be, I just said that it was "magic."
<grin>
When he came for his second session he was down
to 1 pain pill in the morning. He and his wife
were both thrilled. He had a new pain at the 4th
session. It seems that he had overdone something
which is always tempting when you feel better,
isn’t it? But by his 5th and final session he
was comfortable and continuing to enjoy relief
with the power of his mind. And, as Bill says,
"I can take my mind everywhere!"
I am using Melissa Roth’s pain protocol which is
available on my website. Also, check out her
class in advanced pain techniques which we are
offering in January 2009 (20 CEUs for
hypnotherapists) |

Hypnotherapy Training |

With the downward shift in the economy this is a
great time to learn a new skill. Hypnotherapy
offers several options: You can begin a new,

skills that you can use part time for extra
income-- hypnotherapists typically earn $90-$150
per hour. Even with the change in the economy,
people are reaching out for help.
Through lecture, live demonstrations and
supervised in-class practice, you will learn
skills that will change your life and the lives
of those you help. If you have a sincere desire

Spiritual Hypnosis
This training offers two different
approaches to connecting to your spiritual
guidance. Discover how to, in a completely
unconditional and open manner, invite a person’s
spiritual aspect to come to the fore, to become
more tangible and palpable in their life. Learn
the power of ceremony and ritual, how to
incorporate them into your life and help your
clients to do so as well.
Manual included.
"I attended the Spiritual Hypnosis weekend with
instructors Katherine Zimmerman and Gaye Wilson.
I learned many good and powerful Meditations,
such as the Walking Meditation. Although I went
expecting to learn I wasn't expecting what
happened after that weekend.
"I began to notice on the Spiritual Level that a
lot my prayers for others began to resolve right
before my eyes. On an Emotional level I noticed
a resolution to one of the worst times in my
life. After 20 years three issues that had been
tangled together began to unravel making it
easier for me to deal with them separately. I
finally saw the truth about all three issues and
could deal with them and move to place of peace.
Of course, that resolution brought Joy to my
Mental level.
I cannot thank Katherine and Gaye enough for
such a powerful class." ~Maureen "Martie"

Pain has a significant impact upon American
society and our health care system. Pain is the
most common reason Americans seek medical care.
It is estimated that 90% of Americans regularly
experience pain and 70-100 million or more
Americans have persistent (chronic) pain. Yet,
half of all patients given conventional therapy
for their pain do not get adequate relief. These
patients continue to feel moderate to severe
pain.
However, it is estimated that only about 30-35%
of people can develop glove anesthesia. And, in
conditions such as fibromyalgia where the
patient has wide spread pain, glove anesthesia
is ineffective. This class teaches numerous
advanced pain control techniques to relieve
moderate to severe pain, to quickly and covertly
release secondary gain and to prevent pain from
returning. Many of these techniques, such as the
Migraine Manager, can be done in 5 minutes or
less. This makes them ideal for use in hospitals
or emergency situations.
These are unique techniques that you will not
see anywhere else. This is pain control on
steroids!
