California Hypnotherapy Academy & CEUs

The California Hypnotherapy Academy offers a 300 hour comprehensive clinical hypnotherapy training program. Our hands-on approach gives you real-world experience that truly prepares you to enter with confidence into this highly rewarding field.

If you're thinking about a career change or adding skills to your current career, this course is for you!  You can earn additional income while you are helping others!

We offer classes for personal growth (self hypnosis training and EFT, past life regression) as well as continuing education for hypnotherapists.

Course meets qualifications for 16 hours per weekend of continuing education credit for MFCCs and/or LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. PCCE #4228. (additional charge for CEU certificate)

Our 2008 Level 1 class started on May 17-18, 2008. Level 2 starts Aug. 8-9, 2008.

Client Updates

A few months ago I wrote about a client, "Pat," with a 20 year history of diabetes,  who reported being addicted to sugar. We worked on her connection of sweets to her grandmother's love. I called Pat recently and learned that, after only a few sessions, she is "doing just great! The addiction is 95% beat and it's a tremendous relief."

And a new client, "Chuck," came in because he's been chewing tobacco for 30 years and is ready to stop. When he came in for his second session he reported that (after a parts therapy session) he hasn't chewed once. Now when he thinks about chewing he shouts inside his head, "I'm tobacco free!" He is a wonderful trance subject but I am also using the NeuroTherapy with my clients to which I attribute some of their success.

As for me, the combination of hypnosis with the NeuroTherapy has cleared the cobwebs out of my once fuzzy, post-menopausal mind. I seem to be operating again with the brain that I had in my 40s. I wish that I'd had this technology sooner! 

Finding Your True Self

Self Hypnosis for Teen & Adults

Astro News by Martha Armstrong

It seems as though we have had enough frustration to last us -- at least for awhile. This Full Moon on June 18th, 2008 has been and is still building in intensity over the next few days. In what way, you ask? Well, relating to my own experience -- even with having the knowledge of what is coming or going on with the planets/Gods that be --  falling in the deep, dark hole of my past and/or subconscious memories of my childhood.  In the a blink of an eye there I was nose to nose with my Mother reeling words from the past. I forgot that Mercury, the planet of communication, was not in the right gear. And never mind that Pluto, the planet of power, in the sign of Sag, is making his last appearance, at least in any of our lifetimes, and is casting his shadows of  little fear over our optimism. Yes, the fear is a little shady in the way it may present itself to us, but none the less it is right there for all that care to join in on these festivities in the forgotten corners of our subconscious. I am sure that this will require at least a few sessions with your hypnotherapist of choice.

June 19, 2008 Mercury, our god of communication, switches gear into forward motion, and the next day June 20, 2008 we will be celebrating not only the longest day of the year "Summer Solstice" when the Sun enters the sign of Cancer which is all about Mom, apple pie and all that stuff.  Call your Mother give her a quick hello and tell her you gotta run (speaking only from experience) so you two will not be feeling any guilt and thinking, "what would it matter if I got grounded for two months?" Not to worry... ankle bracelets can only be issued by Court order  ("The Judge") and since you don't live in her house anymore you only have to deal with your guilt or fear of being at the same place at the same time, Fate or Karma?

Before you know it the New Moon will be celebrated (if  you choose to celebrate)  Wednesday July 2, 2008 pre Fourth of July, which again should turn our attention to Mom, apple pie and most of the above mentioned. The New Moon is all about new beginnings, or starting over. If you get the chance take this opportunity to plant your seeds, either in your mind or in your garden, for all of your dreams of the future. 

By the way in Astro-gardening this is the time to plant seeds and all above ground plants for the purpose of nurturing our souls through Victory gardens. Also feeding (fertilizing) any little blades of grass and plants. Just a small thing that we can do in relation to world events to nurture this beautiful planet Earth.
