A TRIBUTE

GIL BOYNE, 1924-2010

Gil Boyne died on 5th May 2010 at his home in London, after a brief illness. Having been admitted to hospital and been given a diagnosis a week previously, he told his wife Ann that he was very ready to go, that he wanted to pass away at home and he didn’t want to linger. He left hospital on 4th May, arrived home and passed away around 8.45 on Wednesday morning. His wife, his daughter and his grandchildren were with him. He was 85 years old. ~John Butler

It has been just over two weeks, as I write this, since Gil's passing. I still hardly know what to say. Well, let me start here. I picked the quote from Dr. Seuss because it reminds me of something that Gil used to say to his clients. I'll paraphrase his words: There has never been anyone on this planet who is exactly like you. Because if there were there would have been no reason for you to be born. There never will be anyone on the planet who is exactly like you. Because if there were there would be no need for you to be here now. You are unique. I said that to a client a few years ago. At the end of her session she told me that it was the nicest thing anyone had ever said to her.

I treasure what I have learned from Gil both in his advanced hypnotherapy trainings and at the conferences. As I watch his videos with my students I continue to learn.

My favorite memory of Gil is from an ACHE Conference a few years ago. The first night of the conference Gil had "An Evening with Gil Boyne." I thought that we'd have an opportunity to hear about some of his more extraordinay experiences in the field. However, Gil invited the audience to come up front and share about themselves and their training so that we could all get better acquainted. He did share some of his experiences as well but the best part of that evening was watching love (Agape) pour out of Gil to the attendees. It was beautiful. I also witnessed Gil receiving love. Giving love out is much easier than letting it in so it was quite moving to see such a powerful demonstration.

Let's celebrate Gil's life by being the best hypnotherapists on the planet and learning how to not just love others but receive love as well.

To Gil, my friend and mentor... here is an Irish blessing

HYPNOTHERAPY TRAINING

What is EFT?
EFT is a powerful new discovery that combines two well established sciences so you can benefit from both at the same time:
1. Mind Body Medicine
2. Acupuncture (without needles).
In essence, EFT is an emotional version of acupuncture wherein we stimulate certain meridian points by tapping on them with our fingertips. You will learn the basics of self hypnosis, how to take yourself into hypnosis, as well as the most effective way to word your desired results. When done correctly, the possibilities are endless. Open to ages 15 and up.

STRESS REDUCTION FOR HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS

  You must refill the well in order to be effective in your work with patients. Self hypnosis is a powerful tool that can reduce your stress in just 15 minutes a day. You will also learn some "quick fixes" that take only 90 seconds!

You will learn the basics of self hypnosis, how to take yourself into hypnosis, as well as the most effective way to word your desired results. 15 minutes in hypnosis is equal to an hour of deep restful sleep. Who wouldn't want that?
