Simple Changes |
|
I love my job. I have amazingly
motivated clients and almost every day the power
of the imagination is demonstrated once again.
The following case history is a perfect example
of how easily we can and do make positive
changes.
In this initial session I learned that "Pat" had
a 20 year history of diabetes. Naturally, being
mindful of nutrition is extremely important for
people with this dis-ease. And yet Pat reported
being addicted to sugar. She wanted to eat
something sweet after every meal. I also learned
that she had lived with her grandmother for most
of her first 8 years of life. She felt a great
deal of love from her grandmother and had fond
memories of going with her for ice cream. Around
age 8 her eating habits changed when she
returned to live with her alcoholic parents.
Following Pat's trance induction I asked her to
imagine her desire for sweets as a color, and
asked her then to give it a shape. She described
a smooth, solid green egg that lived in her
solar plexus. I instructed her to lift it out
and dispose of it. When she had accomplished
that we filled the open space that was left with
love. Love was white and formless so I asked Pat
to fill her entire body with this pure,
unconditional love... head to toe, top to
bottom, side to side.
I was delighted to hear from Pat the following
day. She called to let me know that she had no
interest in sweets after breakfast. In fact, the
thought of sugar after breakfast now would be
like someone saying, "Here, have some liver and
onions." Are we done or is there more that will
surface? We'll find out when Pat comes back for
her follow up appointment. Either way, we are
off to a wonderful start. |

The lunar eclipse on Feb. 20th (full Moon) is in
the sign of Virgo. As I have said the full Moon
brings things to light. This full Moon eclipse
is in the sign of Virgo, and the Sun will have
entered into Pisces -- the last sign in the
Zodiac. It can be an opportune time to clean out
any old patterns as well as fears, habits,
individual expectations and emotional and/or
mental garbage. Next month will bring in the
Astrological New Year so cleanse, cleanse,
cleanse to be ready.
All of the personal planets will also now be in
forward motion (Mercury retrograde ended Monday
at 6:57 pm pst) so any projects or activities
that seemed to not get off the ground can slowly
start moving. Take things one step at time so
that you are clear about where you are going.
Groups, organizations and events for people
gathering for sharing information will bring
fresh and innovative ideas.
March's New Moon is on the 7th in the sign of
Pisces. Use this time to look at your diet and
eliminate any junk food and also clean out the
medicine cabinet. And while you're at it, drink
plenty of water even though the weather is not
warm. Pisces can lead us to be given additional
medications to eliminate side effects of
medication or food that we didn't need in the
first place. Again it's a great time to cleanse.
