Since the shift in the economy I've been listening to a CD
that I recorded for myself. Part of the message
is a reminder to seize opportunities. Look
outside the box, if necessary, but take action
in a new way. This is applicable to most of us
but especially those who are self employed. I've
been listening to it for about a month and while
business has improved I hadn't noticed any new
opportunies... yet.
Today a young man called wishing to book an
appointment for EFT to help him with his
depression and self-esteem issues. However, the
cost of a private session wasn't possible with
his current budget and suddenly -- there it was
-- an opportunity. I immediately suggested that
he attend my EFT class for the general public. I
hadn't actually set the dates yet but I'd been
thinking about it. I set the dates while we were
on the phone and he registered.

great. I can still help him achieve his goals;
it fits into his budget and pays my bills as
well. Everyone wins.
Actually, when I think about it, it's been a
whole day of openings. The young woman who rang
up my purchase at the mall mentioned going to
the local state college to become a
psychologist. I suggested that she also look
into hypnotherapy, because of it's
effectiveness, and gave her my card. She wants
to help kids and kids are great at making
changes with hypnosis! Another opportunity to
educate someone about a career possibility. I
think that I'm just paying more attention these
days. It's great, isn't it? |

Hypnotherapy Training |
|
With the
downward shift in the economy this is a great
time to learn a new skill. Hypnotherapy offers
several options: You can begin a new, full time,
satisfying career in a helping profession, add
skills to your current career making your
services more valuable, or learn skills that you
can use part time for extra income--
hypnotherapists typically earn $90-$150 per
hour.
Through lecture, live demonstrations and supervised in-class
practice, you will learn skills that will change
your life and the lives of those you help. If

course is for you!
Course meets qualifications for 16 hours per
weekend of continuing education credit for MFCCs
and/or LCSWs as required by the California Board
of Behavioral Sciences. PCCE #4228. Provider
approved by the Califorinia Board of Registered
Nursing, BRN #15240 for 12 contact hours per
weekend. (additional charge for CE certificate)

Self Hypnosis for Teen & Adults |
|
Self hypnosis is a powerful tool that can enrich your life
immensely. You can learn to modify behaviors,
alter your physical health, reduce stress and
attract positive changes. Who wouldn't want
that?
You will learn the basics of self hypnosis, how to take
yourself into hypnosis, as well as the most
effective way to word your desired results. When
done correctly, the possibilities are endless.
In addition, you will experience a group hypnosis session in
each class. Open to ages 15 and up.

Reiki I |
|
Reiki (pronounced Rey-Key) is a Japanese form of healing. The
word Reiki is made up of two Japanese words: "Rei"
which translates as Universal Wisdom and "Ki"
which translates as Life Energy. Reiki addresses
the body, mind and spirit, accelerating one's
ability to heal one's self.
Reiki is a safe, gentle, non-invasive form of
hands-on healing that increases energy, reduces
pain, produces deep relaxation and a general
feeling of well-being. Reiki initiation attunes
a practitioner to become a channel for the Reiki
energy and is a powerful, life-changing
experience for growth along your spiritual path.
Once attuned you are a Reiki practitioner and
will have the energy for life.
Most nurses attuned to Reiki use it in routine
patient care. Nurses report that certain shifts
in patients' conditions are common following
Reiki treatment, including
increased circulation, patients sleep calmly and
for extended periods, relaxation response is
elicited, patients have a more positive
attitude, are more cooperative and report
decreased pain.

I have been selected as a faculty member for the upcoming
Global Hypnosis Summit. I will be speaking on
Tapping the Teen Market and Finding Your True
Self.
