I liked this month's quote as it describes what is going on
in my life very well. Although I don't
know if I would use the word "talents"
for myself. I have still had many more
client-free days than normal. In fact, I
had been so busy in the last 18 months
my usual attention to details and
paperwork has diminished. Not the end of
the world, but certainly annoying.
Last month I wrote about feeling
stressed over business being slow so in
this update I want to mention the
benefits of slowing down. Sure, the
bills still have to be paid but the
upside to all of this is that my
creativity has been unleashed! The
movie, "Up" was great for that but I
don't want to rent DVDs or go to the
movies every day. I love to read but
even a paperback is at least $9 and I
don't always like them. So I've
rediscovered the library and I've been
reading fiction. Yes, I could be
catching up on reading for work but
really, don't you miss a good novel? I
did.
Actually, it all started one day when I
was reminiscing about spending my
summers sunbathing and reading. Then,
about 10 minutes before my mother was
due home from work, my sister and I
would race around and start our chores.
Ah, good times. Apparently the Universe
does listen because I've had lots
of time for 'summer reading' lately.
Even when I said, "Ok, enough reading,
I'd like to get back to work now." I
waited. Nothing.
And so I read. The books have been funny
and lighthearted with great characters
and dialogue. And it has unleashed a
multitude of creative ideas to make
money. I never would have gotten these
ideas or had the time and energy to
implement them if I'd still been super
busy with clients. No, the ideas didn't
come directly from the books but from my
focus being directed elsewhere.
Times are changing and we need to change
with them. I get it now. Thanks for the
reminder, Universe. |

EFT for Hypnotherapists

gives you another tool to help your
clients (and yourself!) remove negative
emotional issues and blocks that have
interefered with achieving their goals.
The Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and
Be set Free Fast (BSFF) are quick,
powerful and blend extremely well with

to create immediate and permanent
