I accelerated healing!

A few months ago I wrote about using self hypnosis to accelerate healing  when I broke my wrist. I saw the doctor at the 9 week mark and he was so excited about how well I'd healed that he asked if I wanted to see the x-ray. He hadn't offered the first two visits but this time he was like a little kid. Well, of course, I'd love to see the proof.

He showed me how you could hardly even see where it had been broken, that I had a great deal of new bone AND he admitted (ta da!) that I'd made the right decision in turning down the surgery.Which is very interesting considering that during my first visit with him he told me repeatedly that it "wouldn't heal perfectly" without surgery. I like a doctor who can admit that the patient is right.

I also mentioned that wearing the splint had been difficult the last week

because my wrist wanted to move. He affirmed that it was the body wisdom speaking and I should listen. I like this doctor.

My range of motion is almost normal already... no need for physical therapy. And I never had pain once it was immobilized in the emergency room. If you remember I kept telling myself that it would feel fine once it was immobilized. I love hypnosis and the power of the mind!

Course meets qualifications for 16 hours per weekend of continuing education credit for MFCCs and/or LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. PCCE #4228.  Provider approved by the Califorinia Board of Registered Nursing, BRN #15240 for 12 contact hours per weekend. (additional charge for CE certificate)

The California Hypnotherapy Academy offers a 300 hour comprehensive clinical hypnotherapy training program. Our hands-on approach gives you real-world experience that truly prepares you to enter with confidence into this highly rewarding field.

We offer classes for personal growth (self hypnosis training and EFT) as well as continuing education for hypnotherapists.

This institution's application for approval to operate has not yet been reviewed by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education. We are permitted to operate during the review process.

A survey done by the AMA revealed that 58% of physicians were interested in complimentary therapies. They didn't refer to complimentary providers because they didn't know how or what conditions to refer to which therapist.

Topics include: migraines, autoimmune diseases, thyroid disease, depression, exercise motivation, strokes, insomnia, urinary incontinence, asthma, COPD, VCD and respiratory illnesses, chronic illnesses, diabetes, pain, anxiety, pre-op relaxation, post-op recovery, cancer, allergies, secondary gain, dermatology. Includes manual.

As a result of healing herself of irritable bowel syndrome and fibromyalgia using hypnosis, Melissa Roth founded Alabama Hypnotherapy Center, in Birmingham, in 1995. Since then she has specialized in medical applications of hypnotherapy.
