Facing Fear

With the downturn in the economy people are struggling with fears about money. It was no different for me. I had a severe drop in my investments followed by office rent that was suddenly too high when my business dropped 60%. I have three more years on a five-year lease commitment with no escape clause. Then, as if I wasn’t already dealing with a lot, I fell and broke my wrist. I knew how to accelerate physical healing but the rest had me in a tail spin. I closed down and became fearful. I was determined not to spend money on anything that I could do without. At the same time I knew that this would only lead to more fear and less abundance.

When it was time to renew an ad in a local magazine I stalled and worried and agonized. Finally, I renewed but missed the full early renewal discount. I didn’t feel good about spending the money. Next, I visited a consignment clothing store hoping to turn in a few things that I wasn’t wearing and generate some cash down the road. Instead, they turned down what I’d brought in and I spent $100. All sales are final and within the hour I was suffering from buyer’s remorse. A few days later I decided to let go and add a dsl line to replace the wireless internet connection that I was using even though I had three more months on the contract.  The difference this time was that I managed to feel good about my decision. I let go and trusted that it would all work out. The phone started ringing later that day. Business has started flowing in my direction again. And, at a recent business mixer I won a $100 gift certificate toward carpet cleaning which offset the clothing expense. Having my carpets cleaned was already in this month’s budget.

Intellectually, I know the principles of abundance and that fear shuts down the flow. I wish that I could say that I’ve learned this lesson and no longer get stuck in fear. But, like many others, I know that a lesson is repeated until it’s learned. There’s always a silver lining to life if we take the time to look for it. Since I’ve been dealing with fear so much lately, I developed a new class: From Fear to Freedom. It isn’t enough to know this intellectually. We need tools that we can use to move ourselves out of that place where we get stuck. Developing the course has helped me. Perhaps taking the course would help you. Check out the details below.

The Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)

What is EFT?
EFT is a powerful new discovery that combines two well established sciences so you can benefit from both at the same time:
1. Mind Body Medicine
2. Acupuncture (without needles).
In essence, EFT is an emotional version of acupuncture wherein we stimulate certain meridian points by tapping on them with our fingertips. This addresses a new cause for emotional issues (unbalanced energy meridians). And, since emotional stress can contribute to pain, disease and physical ailments, we often find that EFT provides astonishing physical relief.

You can make enormous strides by introducing EFT into your emotional therapy process (whether you are a professional or a client). Instead of taking  years using conventional talk therapy, EFT often does the job for you cleanly and thoroughly and much more quickly.

You Will Learn
• A Brief History of Energy Therapy
• The Basic Recipe
• How to Correct Psychological Reversal
• Why We Don’t Always Reduce the Intensity to Zero
• How to Uncover Aspects
• How to Apply EFT to a Variety of Issues

Pre-requisite: None

This is a hands-on, experiential training. You will have the opportunity to clear issues from your own life as well as learning how to apply these techniques to others.

Experience the power and effectiveness of these easy to use tools to create immediate and permanent change. Class includes lecture, demonstrations and supervised practice. Manual included.

Who Can Benefit?
Anyone who wants a new tool to facilitate change.
