Hypnosis in
Healthcare:
Medical
Hypnotherapy Certification
A survey done by
the AMA revealed that 58% of physicians were interested in complimentary
therapies. They didn't refer to complimentary providers because they didn't
know how or what conditions to refer to which therapist.
Melissa Roth is
the only practicing hypnotherapist who has experience working in hospitals
and outpatient practice. She is also the most experienced medical
hypnotherapist still practicing. Sacramento will be her only West coast
teaching location in 2010.

incontinence, asthma, COPD, VCD and respiratory illnesses, chronic
illnesses, diabetes, pain, anxiety, pre-op relaxation, post-op recovery,

As a result of
healing herself of irritable bowel syndrome and fibromyalgia using hypnosis,
Melissa Roth founded Alabama Hypnotherapy Center, in Birmingham, in 1995.
Since then she has specialized in medical applications of hypnotherapy. She
developed a number of unique approaches to chronic illness that have become
the treatments of choice worldwide. She partners with physicians of every
specialty to promote hypnosis as an important and valuable tool in the
